MORE ABOUT ME
Greetings! My name is Rolando Abraham. I’m currently working for the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as a Telecommunications Technician. I’m in my late 20’s. My career goal is to become a professional cybersecurity researcher.
I have a strong foundation in networking technologies. In the future I’d like to advance my knowledge pass the CCNA level. However, my main focus right now is gaining more experience in the cybersecurity field. During this time I’m also becoming more versed in Linux administration as this is another important aspect of becoming a professional cybersecurity researcher. Other important aspects I’m also building on are scripting and automation.
Currently, my main source of learning is TCM Acadamy. So far I’ve learned about Network Penetration Testing, Mobile Application Penetration Testing, Bug Bounty Hunting and lots more. I’m aware that this is just the beginning. In order to achieve my goal, experience would be my greatest teacher. Therefore, I’ve created accounts on bug bounty sites: hackerone, intigriti and bugcrowd. I’m actively looking for bugs and learning as I go. Additionally, I use Portswigger’s WebSecurity Academy and CTFs to help solidify my knowledge.
Going forward I’ll be building some projects and writing blog posts about what I’ve learned. The journey won’t be easy but it would be worth it.
